Terradico Cave
Also known as Indiani Cave, it is famous for its triangular shape, that recalls a tepee. Actually, it is not a single cave, but a complex of three cavities of various sizes, which follow one another.
Gabbiani Cave
It is characterised by numerous water leaks that gave birth to splendid stalactites. Moreover, it is inhabited by many birds.
Verdusella Cave
It is a complex of small and not too deep caves, characterised by an extraordinarily beautiful crystal-clear seabed.
Ortocupo Cave
It is a big cove within which there are caves that you can visit by swimming. Among these, we must mention the Soffio Cave, so called for the splashes of water coming out from the entrance of the cave.
Vora Cave
Long and deep cavity that extends over 60 meters. The name is given by an opening (“Vora”) at the top of the vault of the cave, about 20 meters high, which gives rise to spectacular light effects at certain times of the day.
Mannute Cave
It is a complex of cavities that are located on the rocky wall, about 20-30 meters above sea level. It is characterized by numerous limestone formations (stalactites and stalagmites).
Punta Ristola
Promontory called Punta Ristola.
Mesciu Gianni Cave
Passing Punta Ristola, there is this small cave, characterized by a pile of stones and debris placed on the right cliff.
Fiume Cave
It is a complex of caves connected to each other, characterized by the remains of a karstic activity that which heritage is a stream of fresh water that gets lost into the salt sea.
Presepe Cave
This cavity is characterized by wonderful limestone sculptures, with stalactit formations of exceptional beauty, which seem to recall the features of the Nativity (hence the name).
Tre Porte Cave
The name recalls the monumental entrance with 3 “doors”, which seems to stand out in the sea as the passage to another world. From here you can enjoy the coolness and the beautiful play of light.
Giganti Cave
This cave is so called because of the legend according to which within it the Giants killed by Libyan Hercules are buried. It is of exceptional paleontological interest, since numerous remains of artefacts dating back to the Middle Palaeolithic have been found here.
Drago Cave
About 60 meters deep, extremely spectacular, within this cave there are rocks that resemble the head of a dragon and a moray.
